Certificate will be valid for life long.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The qualified candidate may appear again in the next Chhattisgarh CG TET examination to improve upon the marks.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The marks obtained in Chhattisgarh CG TET examination may be used as weightage while the recruitment of teachers. Decision regarding the weightage will be taken by the recruiting authority.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">Syllabus of CG TET<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:14px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong id=\"structure\" class=\"strong_text\">Structure of Chhattisgarh CGTET<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Questions of CG TET will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), with four alternatives out of which one answer will be correct.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Each paper will be of two and a half hour duration and a total of 150 questions will be asked. Each question will be of one mark. There will be no negative marking on wrong answers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There will be two papers of the CG TET Test. Candidates qualifying the first paper will be eligible for teaching in classes one to five. (Special Education) passed or appearing in final year examination.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"foot_note\"><strong>Note 1 :-<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Relaxation of 5% in the qualifying marks in minimum Educational Qualification for eligibility shall be permitted to the candidates belonging to reserved categories, such as SC\/ST\/OBC\/Differently-abled for tet exam CG.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Diploma\/Degree Course in Teacher Education:<\/strong> For the purposes of this Notification, only a Diploma\/Degree course in teacher education recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education NCTE) shall be considered. However, in case of Diploma in Education (Special Education) and or B.ED (Special Education) only a course recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) only shall be considered.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Training to be undergone:<\/strong> A person with D.Ed (Special Education) or B.Ed. (Special Education) shall have to undergo, a six-month Special Programme in Elementary Education recognized by NCTE after the appointment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The minimum qualifications referred above apply to teachers of Languages, Social Studies\/Social Science, Mathematics, Science etc. In respect of teachers for Physical Education, the minimum qualification norms referred to in NCTE Regulation, dated 3rd November, 2001 (as amended from time to time) shall be applicable. For teachers of Art Education, Craft Education, Home Science, Work Education, etc. the existing eligibility norms prescribed by the State Government and other school managements shall be applicable till NCTE lays down the minimum qualifications in that respect .<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A person who is pursuing any of the teacher education courses (recognized by the NCTE or the RCI, as the case may be) specified in the NCTE Notification dated 29th July, 2011 shall be eligible for appearing in the Chhattisgarh CGTET.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Candidates who do not have the above qualifications can not appear in Chhattisgarh CGTET.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The candidates should satisfy his\/her eligibility before applying and shall be personally responsible in case he\/she is not eligible to apply as per the given eligibility criteria.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"footnote\">Note 2 :-<span><\/span><\/span><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>It is to be noted that if a candidate has been allowed to appear in the Chhattisgarh Teacher Eligibility Test CG TET it does not imply that the candidate&#8217;s eligibility has been verified. It does not vest any right with the candidate for appointment. The eligibility shall be finally verified, by the concerned recruiting agency \/ appointing authority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">CGTET Passing Marks for OBC, ST,
