Sidharth Malhotra and Tara Sutaria to star in the remake Masakali
It looks like Sidharth Malhotra and Tara Sutaria will be seen together in a music video titled, Masakali 2.0, which is a recreated version of the much popular song Masakali from Rakeysh Om Prakash s Delhi 6, starring Sonam Kapoor and Abhishek Bachchan.
The reports suggest that this new version will be recreated by Tanishk Bagchi and directed by Adil Shaikh. It is sung by Tulsi Kumar and Sachet Tandon. In a recent interview, Sidharth Malhotra expressed that the song is relevant in today. “We have unintentionally made a song revolving around two people cooped up indoors and still doing a lot of masti,” he said. They could rehearse the song just once but the shoot went off rather smooth. Tara further revealed, “It was a breeze. It’s such a catchy song despite being a mid tempo tune.”No doubt Sid and Tara share a great chemistry on screen. The two were seen together in Milap Zaveri’s Marjaavaan. Before Tara made her Bollywood debut with, Student Of The Year 2, reports suggested that Sid and she were dating each other. There s never been any confirmation from either on the matter. However, on Karan Johar s chat show,Tara had admitted to having a crush on one of the former students. Which in all probability she was talking about Sid.
We can t wait to watch what Tara and Sid have to offer in this revamped version of Masakali.

Hereâs what Sonam Kapoor said in defence of Kanika Kapoor
Yesterday, the news of Kanika Kapoor being tested positive for the corona virus didn’t sit too well with people of our country. Many raised questions that why she didn’t opt for self isolation instead of attending parties in the city of Lucknow.
However, Bollywood actor Sonam Kapoor came out in support of Kanika claiming that the flack she’s getting on social media is unnecessary. The actress took to Twitter and wrote, “Hey guys @TheKanikakapoor came back on the 9th. India was not self isolating but playing Holi.”
Hey guys @TheKanikakapoor came back on the 9th. India was not self isolating but playing Holi.— Sonam K Ahuja (@sonamakapoor) March 21, 2020 Well, while it seems that Sonam does have Kanika’s back, netizens still seem pretty upset about her carelessness upon returning from a foreign land where the number of coronavirus cases are way higher.
In an interview with a leading daily, Kanika spoke about what happened at the airport. She said, “So I reached Lucknow on March 11 by the morning flight. And one can check, at that time there was no advisory issued by the government on anyone travelling from abroad to be under self-quarantine. So how can one expect me to do it, especially when I had been screened and had no health issues till I left Mumbai? In fact, I developed the symptoms only four days ago.”
Panic takes over Lucknow after Kanika Kapoor was tested positive with Covid - 19
Bollywood singer Kanika Kapoor was tested positive with Covid - 19 aka the corona virus. Kanika was a part of gatherings in the city which apparently also included several ministers amongst the guests. People on social media have criticised her for the negligence she demonstrated by attending social gatherings instead of opting for self quarantine.
Now, it seems like this has led to panic amongst employees in a bank of Lucknow. As per a report, Manoj Kunar, who heads the Latush Red branch of Bank of Baroda in the city, made a visit to Kanika s residence two days back, and spent about half an hour there. In fact, Kumar was even asked to go in social isolation but the he refused to follow up on that. The employees at the branch are now worried that they are at risk since they share the same office as Manoj.
We earlier reported that an FIR filed against Kanika Kapoor in Lucknow’s Sarojini Nagar. Reports are now making rounds that another FIR has been filed in the name of the singer in Bihar s Muzaffarpur.

âThey are behaving as if I am a criminal for no fault of mineâ - Kanika Kapoor
The Baby Doll fame singer, Kanika Kapoor sent the media into a frenzy after the news of her being infected with the COVID 19 virus went viral. Netizens and some celebs slammed her for hiding her travel details at the airport and not quarantining post her return from London. Not just this, she was also ridiculed for partying with close to 100 people in Lucknow, when in the given pandemic situation, the singer should have morally self-quarantined.
Presently, Kanika, who has tested positive for Coronavirus, has been admitted to a hospital in Lucknow. In an interview she gave to a news channel, the singer, in an attempt to clarify her stand, said she is being made to look irresponsible when she is not. Talking about her travel history, Kanika recounted that she reached India on March 9, and post landing in Mumbai from London, she was duly screened at the Mumbai airport for the virus symptoms. When Kanika was asked to comment about the news of hiding in the bathroom to skip the Coronavirus screening, the singer rubbished all such news, She said that these are all silly rumours. Talking about the same, Kanika questioned reports claiming that she hid in the bathroom and retorted, “How is it possible for a person to skip screening at immigration while coming off on an international flight? I was properly screened at the Mumbai airport and I stayed in the city for a day.”
She also added that due to the pandemic, since no work was happening because of the industry lockdown, her parents suggested that she comes to Lucknow, her hometown.
Clarifying her part on attending social gatherings, Kanika admitted to the fact that she did attend social gatherings and met people, but until then, she wasn t aware she may be infected with the virus because her symptoms developed only four days ago.
Kanika also revealed the fact that she has submitted a list of people she has been in contact with, to the health department.
The singer vehemently dismissed the reports of hosting parties in her hometown saying that she never hosted a party but she only attended a small birthday bash.
Well, we just hope everyone takes a lesson from this incident involving Kanika Kapoor and does their bit sincerely and honestly to keep our country and people safe and out of crisis.

Hereâs why the BMC issued an apology to John Abraham
The Coronavirus pandemic has been one of the biggest global crisis so far. And while there are several issues related to this crisis, right from crashing economies to thousands of deaths, one issue is related to the animals and pets. The BMC apparently has circulated posters and pamphlets that suggest pets and wild animals are carriers of the virus. They have apparently advised people to stay away from their pets.
This misleading information from BMC have only made matters worse as soon after, reports started emerging that pet owners were abandoning their pets after reading that COVID-19 was transmitted through animals. Sadly, some dogs were even found abandoned in the city.
Thankfully, John Abraham, a doting pet parent and animal rights activist did not take lightly to this error. He tweeted to the BMC against this kind of wrong information. Making a rather important statement regarding this misconception he took to social media and wrote, Animals do not get or transmit Covid 19... Please don’t be misinformed.

What s more, the BMC responded to John s message by writing, Sir,We regret the misinformation that led to panic among pet owners. We too love pets & hence as soon as this was brought to our notice, all of these hoarding were removed with immediate effect.
We request you to help spread the message & help us keep Mumbai safe.

We applaud John Abraham for standing up for our animal friends!
