Utet kya hota hai
UTET is Uttarakhand TET, which is an abbreviation for Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test, उत्तराखंड शिक्षक पात्रता परीक्षा, a test one must qualify to become a teacher in Uttarakhand.
Utet passing marks
In the Teacher Eligibility Test (Uttarakhand UTET), the minimum passing marks for the General Category is 60% percent.
The minimum passing marks for the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes is 40% percent.
And for candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes, Disabled candidates, Freedom Fighters dependent, Ex-serviceman (own) category, the percentage will be 50%.

UTET certificate is valid for life.

Is CTET valid in uttarakhand
Yes, CTET qualified candidates will be eligible for all schools of state.
Uttarakhand primary teacher eligibility
(i) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed/B.T.C.) OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.). OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with minimum 45% marks and two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed./B.T.C.), obtained in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002. OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education). OR
Graduation (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed./B.T.C.) OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed).
(ii) Such Shikshamitras working on honorarium in government primary schools, who have passed the 2-year D.El.Ed examination from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) after the permission of the State Government.
Note – 1 : A candidate who has acquired the qualification or Bachelor of Education from any NCTE recognized institution shall be considered for appointment as a teacher in classes I to V provided the person so appointed as a teacher shall mandatorily undergo a six month Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognized by the NCTE, within two year of such appointment as primary teacher.
Note – 2 : Candidates undergoing training in one year, two-year degree/diploma training teaching course and in the final year of 4-year degree training course will also be eligible for the Teacher Eligibility Test.
Note – 3 : All educational degrees must have been obtained from a university established by law in India or a recognized board. Training degrees must have been obtained or are being obtained from institutions recognized by NCTE.
Note – 4 : Relaxation of 5% will be provided in the marks obtained at graduation level for reserved Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Other Backward Class and disabled candidates.
Note – 5 : The percentage of Higher Secondary/Graduate/Training qualification will be calculated as per the procedure prescribed as per National Council for Teacher Education (Recognition, Criteria and Procedure) Regulations.
Relaxation of marks for SC/ST/OBC
Relaxation of 5% will be provided in the marks obtained at graduation level for reserved Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Other Backward Class and disabled candidates.
