Mahatet Certificate: The validity of Maharashtra TET certificate (MahaTET Certificate) will be 7 years from the date of issue.
The candidates who have passed the Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test (MahaTET) will be able to appear any number of times for the examination to increase the score.

Syllabus of Maha Tet
Maharashtra MAHATET Syllabus
In the “Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test” MAHATET, there will be one separate question paper for each of the two groups of junior primary (1st to 5th) and senior primary (6th to 8th). Both the question paper will be required for the candidates applying for the group.
The form and skill level of both the papers will be based on secondary and higher secondary school curriculum respectively.
Instructions for Urdu medium candidates:-
In Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Examination, 2011, the DTP along with the Urdu medium papers for the candidate. Provision of question papers – Government Letter No.
According to the order issued by the government under narrow -2015 / 837/2015 / TNT-1, dated May 5, 2015, the Urdu medium candidates will now have a DTP with Urdu medium handwritten scanning question papers. The question paper will also be provided so that Urdu medium candidates will not be provided with English medium papers.

Eligibility Criteria for Maharashtra teacher exam MAHATET
Primary Teacher Eligibility in Maharashtra
A) Educational and Professional Qualification for teacher exam in Maharashtra MahaTET (For Class I to VII) :-
(i) Passing Higher Secondary (or equivalent) examination with minimum 50% marks in recognized board and two year Diploma in Primary Education in recognized institution (D.T.ED) (given any name)
Or
(ii) Passing the Higher Secondary (or equivalent) examination with minimum 45 percent marks in recognized board as per the National Council of Teacher Education (Regulations, 2002) and passed a two year Diploma in Primary Education in a recognized institution. (Given it any name).
Or
(iii) Passing the Higher Secondary (or equivalent) examination with minimum 50% marks of recognized board and passed the recognized institution, four years of Bachelor of Elementary Education
Or
(iv) Passing the Higher Secondary (or equivalent) examination with minimum 50% marks in the approved examination board and two years of special education in educationology of a recognized institution.
Or
(v) Degree of accredited University and the teaching institution of a recognized institution passed a two-year diploma (given that name).
(vi) Government decision school education and sports department TCM-9/9/36/09 / March-4, dt. Under the Higher Secondary School Examination (MCVC) branch, passed the Crench and Pre School Management Examination of Horticulture and Crop Science and Health Care Sector in June 10, 2010, and two year Diploma in Education

(i) Passing two year Diploma in accredited university degree and primary education in recognized institution (given that name)

(iii) Passing the Higher Secondary (or equivalent) examination with minimum marks of 50% marks in the approved examination board and four years of Bachelor of Elementary Education
